Glenn Hutchinson, DVM
Dr. Glenn is a native of Springfield, Louisiana, and he has been a practicing veterinarian for more than 40 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and is a rabid LSU Tigers fan–Geaux Tigers!! After earning his bachelor’s degree, he attended Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1972. Dr. Glenn began his career serving in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corp and working in a vet clinic at Fort Polk. After leaving the military, he gained further experience by working in private clinics, with partners and on his own, as an animal and plant health inspector for the USDA, and as a mobile large-animal veterinarian. Dr. Glenn established Hutchinson Veterinary Clinic in 2000 to meet the needs of pet owners in Amite and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Glenn is married and has two children and three grandchildren. He and his wife are also the proud pet parents to four dogs.
